• When was Kapi founded?

KAPI Limited was founded in 1964 as a formulator and manufacturer of pyrethrum based products. KAPI continues to formulate pyrethrum products as well as synthetic pyrethroid products.

• Where is Kapi located?

Kapi has its main factory and offices at Kufanya Road-Industrial area Nakuru, half a kilometer away from Westside Mall. Refer to Google Maps. Kapi has opened a second factory within Nakuru that will specialize exclusively with pyrethrum based products

• What products does Kapi manufacture/distribute?

• Are all the three Dudu-krin shampoos (Original, Gentle and Super) insecticidal?

Yes! All three are formulated to kill ticks, fleas and lice on dogs and cats

• Are application instructions different for dogs and cats?

Yes! Please ensure you follow the instructions on each bottle. Cats require greater care and attention.

• How do I apply Dudu-krin on my DOG?
• Wet your dog’s coat completely with water
• Apply a generous amount of Dudu-krin Shampoo and massage well into the dog’s coat.
• How long should Dudu-krin pet shampoo stay on my dog’s coat before rinsing off?

For best results, leave Dudu-krin on your dog for 15-30 minutes. Rinse well.

• How do I apply Dudu-krin on my cat?

• For how long does one application of Dudu-krin pet shampoo protect the pet from ticks, fleas and lice?

One application of Dudu-krin pet shampoo protects your pet for 3 days.

• Does Anti-bacterial pet shampoo kill ticks, fleas, and lice?

No. Anti-bacterial shampoo is formulated to clean the pet, leaving the coat with a pleasant smell while protecting your pet from harmful germs and bacteria.

• • Is Duduspray a Ready To Use (RTU) product?

  Yes. Duduspray is a ready to use product and should NOT be diluted. Simply spray.

  • Is Duduspray safe for my young child?

  Indeed! Duduspray is very gentle since it is purely made from pyrethrum. Apply to a room WITHOUT your child being in the room. Allow Duduspray to settle for 10 minutes. The room is now safe for your child to re-enter

  • How is it best to buy Duduspray?

  When you first start to use Duduspray, buy either the 1lt or 500ml with the trigger sprayer. The trigger sprayer units are high quality and will last for years and years. Thereafter buy a 2lt or 5lt refill, and just top up your trigger sprayer bottle from the refill. This gives you the benefit of the best priced insecticide on the market, and you are minimizing waste plastic.

  • Where should I spray Duduspray

  As a natural and safe product, Duduspray may be used in your kitchen, living areas and bedrooms. It kills most insects including mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants and flies

  • How do I use for cockroaches and ants in the kitchen

  At the end of each day, spray your kitchen table tops and work surfaces

• How do I use Mossi chips?
• Remove a Mossi chip from a sealed packet.
• Plug the 3-pin electric vapouriser into an electrical socket and switch on. Pilot light indicates when vapouriser is “ON”
• Insert the Mossi chip into the top slot of the vapouriser unit so that it lies horizontally on top of ceramic plate.
• For a better result, close doors and windows for 30 minutes initially.
• How long does a Mossi Chip last for?

Mossi Chips are designed to be effective for 8-10 hours (for the duration of your sleep). A Mossi Chip can only be used once, for one night, then it must be discarded and a new Mossi Chip should be inserted.

• Where can Mossi Chips be used?

Mossi Chips are designed for use in your bedrooms and living areas. For your bedroom, plug in an hour before you go to bed. For your living area, plug in just as the daylight it fading.

• Do Mossi Chips come in different fragrances?

Yes. Lavender and Roman Chamomile is specifically formulated for the bedrooms – as lavender assists with sleep. Citronella, bergamot and geranium is formulated for living areas as the fragrance invigorates. We offer two other fragrances as well as a fragrance free Mossi Chip

• What are Flower Mosquito Sticks?

They are essentially incense sticks with added pyrethrum that kill all insects whilst creating a nice scent.

• Are there different fragrances?

Yes. We have Sandal, Rose and Regular.

• How long do they burn?

Our regular sticks last for an hour while Jumbo sticks last for 2 hours.

• How do I use Flower Liquid Mosquito Repellent?

The liquid bottle screws into an electric heater unit and plugs into a standard socket. Turn the heater on at night and off in the morning. Each refill bottle provides 60 nights protection (at 10 hours per night). Please remember to turn off each morning!

• Does Flower Liquid refill have different fragrances?

No.  The liquid is fragrance free and uses the latest generation insecticide to safely protect you from mosquitoes at home.

• Where can Flower Liquid Mosquito Repellent be used?

Flower Liquid Mosquito Repellent is designed for use in your bedrooms and living areas. For your bedroom, turn on an hour before you go to bed. For your living area, turn on just as the daylight it fading.

• Are Mosquito Repellent wipes effective?

Yes. We use 30% Deet together with natural Citronella so our wipes repel mosquitoes and other insects (and they smell nice!)

• Can we personalize your wipes?

Yes. We can produce wipes to your artwork specification (We already produce several for popular hotels and lodges in the country) or you can buy our Zebra towelettes which are equally well designed.

• What is the average burning time for our coils?

All our coils burn for longer than 7 hours.

• Which coils do you make?

We make Flower Coils and Combat red and green coils

• What are the difference between Flower Coils and Combat Coils?

Flower Coils have a high dose of active so kill mosquitoes more effectively. They are also perfumed

• How are Flower coils packaged?

Flower coils are packed in boxes of 10 coils with stand (36 boxes per carton) and individually packed double coil that we sell as Moja kwa Moja (without stands).

• Are Combat coils perfumed?

No. Combat coils are fragrance free. They are available in Red and Green colours.

Each coil unit is a double coil that needs to be separated gently into two separate coils. One coil is suitable for one room

• What is the Pre Harvest Interval (P.H.I) of Flower DS 4EC?

Flower DS 4 EC has zero residues after 24 hours and offers a one day pre harvest interval.

• What is the rate of application for Flower DS 4 EC?

Use 1-2 litres of Flower DS 4 EC per hectare. If you have questions, call our Agricultural Insecticides Manager on 0710615604. Dilution depends upon the insect type and level of infestation

• Does Flower DS EC have phytotoxicity?

Trials have proven zero phytotoxicity on vegetables, fruits and flowers.We always recommend that commercial farms test prior to use.

• What is the re-entry level of Flower DS 4 EC?

Workers may re-enter the green house as soon as the fog or mist has settled.

• What is the best time for application?

The best time for application is late afternoon/early evening or very early in the morning. If you have any doubt please contact our Agricultural Insecticides Manager on 0710615604. Pyrethrum is degraded by sunlight so you should never apply when the sun has risen properly

• What are the target pests for Flower DS 4 EC?

All pests e.g. thrips, aphids, caterpillars, mites, mealy bugs. Pyrethrum is effective against nearly all insects

• Does Flower DS 4 EC have MRLs?

Flower DS 4 EC has zero residues after 24 hours.
